LETS MAKE A COATING CURING
OVEN FOR RIFLES

This oven was made by
Roger Shearin, pretty nice wood-working! Roger made a
wooden box with a hinged top.
His heating elements are
charcoal starters; he used two and gave each one a lamp dimmer. I think I'll
E-Mail him and see if, by connecting them in series, (Lets
say they are 1200 watts each when supplied with 120 volts, and draw 10 amps
each. When connected in series, each "sees" only 60 volts, and the
current is cut in half, so each only produces 300 watts) he can use only one
lamp dimmer.
Oven temperature is monitored
by what appears as a meat thermometer through a hole in the lid.
Our hats' off to American
ingenuity!!!!!!
