LETS MAKE A COATING CURING
OVEN FOR RIFLES

After coating the Fiberglas
with hi temp paint, I removed the masking tape from the screws and put one nut
on each screw.
Then I ran the heating element
from one end to the other. The element will be powered through to the screws at
the ends while the other screws serve only to support the wire.
The wire is sandwiched between
two nuts on each screw and is held up a little above the surface of the
insulation. All of these screws are potential places to get electrocuted. The
wooden bar that is used to support the screws is located at the very bottom of
the oven, and below the bar should be enough material to cover the screw heads.
If your insulation is covered with foil or some other conductive material,
remove it from the bottom so nothing conductive comes within 1-inch of any
screw. I don't know if "aluminum" manifold paint is conductive, but I
would stay away from it.
