ODD JOBS
These pages show some of the ODD JOBS that come about when friends and acquaintances learn you work on firearms (usually for free).
These are NOT intended as HOW TO DO instructions, but as how I DID the task. Most of the time, I use materials and tooling that I have on-hand, your situation WILL be different. In fact, I doubt you will be asked to solve these problems, but some of the tid-bits from this information may suggest a way to solve your specific problem.
Putting Anschutz Iron Sights on a Tikka Rifle
This shows how I mounted the sights. The front sight is fairly typical, and shows how a front can be mounted without "messing" with the barrel. The rear attachment is probably a one-of-a-kind.
Making a Safety For a ChiCom Pistol
I picked up this handgun, but it was missing the safety and some small safety parts. The oieces were found/made using only a drill press, files and sand paper.
Making the AR-style Bolt-Stop Extension
The work involved in making the extensions. The stuff about small-lot anodizing should be interesting!
