F-Class Match No. Six
Western PA 30 Cal. League
Oct 6, 2002
The last 600-yard F-Class Match of 2002 attracted 14 shooters. Three 40 round stages (20 + 20) were fired, and some shooters fired in two, but were scored for only the first 40 shots. The weather was fine, although a little windy.
First, THE BOSS; this is my wife, Sandra. She ran the line, signed up the shooters, and squared away the finances. The score cards and match roster are on the table. (Photo taken in our motor-home at the range)

OK some pictures: (thanks to my Wife, Sandra)
When 9:00 rolled around, so did the fog. This was taken from the 600-yard line, the targets are invisible in the distance.
Tom Farraro (behind) brought his son, Nate (left), as well as a friend, Mike Pintarish. As always, young and old shooters are welcome!!
This is a view of the line, the nearest shooter is Ron Yingling, then me, and near the umbrella is Lorren Brown.
Lorren was shooting a 45-70, using black powder. After every shot, he "blew" the barrel to clear soot and dirt.
Of course the AR style rifles throw spent case everywhere, here Mike Pollock gathers flung cases.
Here we have the Morse's, Father and Son, with the Son trying his SKS. The 7.62x39 just didn't quite make it.
